For example, he bought an early 20th-century tin toy for $12 and sold it on eBay for $1,000. Aaron insists that you must know exactly what you have and what it’s worth. If you don’t know what you have, then don’t sell it until you do know.

 

Do you know how to sell? It is one of the easiest ways to get ahead of everyone else is to learn how to sell. It doesn’t matter what industry or business you are in. You need to learn and know how to sell yourself, your ideas and your business. In fact, all businesses are in the business of selling – period. If you want to succeed at being a millionaire, you need to know how to sell but you have to know the difference between being ‘pushy’ and enthusiastic. No one likes to be harassed to no end, but being enthusiastic about what you do is contagious.

 

You need to be the EXPERT in whatever you choose to do. You can lose credibility fast if you are not prepared to answer questions and know what else is out there or what your competition is doing. You do not want to make your customer feel like they have no choice, however, you do want to make them feel like you are their best option. Make sure they draw that conclusion on their own. Treat your customer like gold, as if they are the most important person in the world.
